The ScaleMatrix Green Machine Hosting Enclosure uses chilled water technology to provide industry leading temperature management and efficiency. Each enclosure is NEMA 3 rated to minimize any risk introduced by the chilled water system. Redundant high-performance “VFD” or Variable-Frequency Drives control fans speed which drive cold air circulation with-in the Green Machine enclosure’s interior.
Additional power, fire prevention, and HVAC controls are managed through the use of advanced Honeywell Control systems which are tied into the ScaleMatrix central monitoring system.
HVAC supply is monitored and managed to the precise degree required by the IT Thermal load. This close management between IT Thermal load and cooling resources translates into long term electrical cost savings for our clients.
